Focus: Anna Vasof
Serafio
Anna Vasof, born in Prague, Czech Republic, is an architect, media, and time-based artist. She studied architecture at the University of Thessaly (2010) in Greece and Transmedia Art (2014) at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria. In 2020 she finished her Ph.D. thesis about a cinematographic technique that she developed entitled Non-Stop Stop-Motion. She is currently working on designing and building innovative mechanisms for producing critical videos, films, actions, and installations.
Her full body of work was presented for the first time in Greece within the frame of the 1st IFFA and conducted a masterclass "Grandma’s Dog Wears VR".
