Loïc Hobi

Ο Loïc Hobi γεννήθηκε το 1997 στην Ελβετία. Σπούδασε σκηνοθεσία στη σχολή κινηματογράφου École de la Cité του Luc Besson στο Saint Denis, αποφοιτώντας με μεταπτυχιακό στη σκηνοθεσία με τη μικρού μήκους ταινία του "L' Homme jetée" (2019). Η μικρού μήκους ταινία του για την ενηλικίωση, "The Life Underground" (2021), συμμετείχε στο διαγωνιστικό τμήμα του Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου του Λοκάρνο και προτάθηκε για το Βραβείο Ελβετικού Κινηματογράφου. Η φιλμογραφία του περιλαμβάνει πιο πειραματικές δουλειές για τις εικονικές μας ταυτότητες. Αυτή τη στιγμή αναπτύσσει τα σχέδια μεγάλου μήκους ταινιών του διεθνώς, με στόχο να αφηγηθεί οικείες ιστορίες μέσα από συναρπαστικά πλαίσια για να τα βάλει με τις οθόνες που μεγάλωσε παρακολουθώντας.

Loïc Hobi was born in 1997 in Switzerland. He studied directing at Luc Besson’s film school École de la Cité in Saint Denis, graduating with a Master in directing with his short film "L' Homme jetée" (2019). His coming of age short, "The Life Underground" (2021), was in competition at the Locarno Film Festival and got nominated for the Swiss Film Prize. His filmography includes more experimental work about our virtual identities. He is currently developing his feature film projects internationally, with the aim of telling intimate stories through thrilling contexts to take on the screens he grew up watching.
