Η Béatrice Kordon σπούδασε διεύθυνση φωτογραφίας στη Femis. Οι ταινίες της εξερευνούν την ίδια την κινηματογραφική γραφή και βρίσκονται στο σταυροδρόμι ντοκιμαντέρ, πειραματικού κινηματογράφου, ηχητικών εγκαταστάσεων και εικαστικών τεχνών, υφαίνοντας την αφήγησή τους ως πολλαπλά νήματα ποικίλων πηγών — βίντεο, φιλμ, φωτογραφίες, πίνακες ζωγραφικής, αρχεία...
Αυτή την περίοδο τελειώνει το τρίτο μέρος ενός τρίπτυχου (που άρχισε με το Dionysos και το Les Insensés).
Συνεργάζεται επίσης με άλλους σκηνοθέτες ως διευθύντρια φωτογραφίας και μοντέρ, ενώ διευθύνει και εργαστήρια σκηνοθεσίας σε διάφορα ιδρύματα. Από το 2018 συνεργάζεται στο θέατρο, με σκηνοθέτες σαν τις Marie Lelardoux και Malte Schwind. Από το 2013, ασχολείται και με τη ξυλογλυπτική και εικαστικές εγκατάστασεις.

After studying cinematography at La Femis, Béatrice Kordon started making films that explore and question the cinematographic writing itself. Her films are situated at the crossroads of documentary practices, experimental cinema, sound creation and visual arts, working their narration as a weaving of multiple threads and varied sources — video, film, photos, paintings, archives...
She’s currently finishing the third part of a triptych (which started with her films Dionysos and Les Insensés).
She also collaborates with other directors as a DoP or editor and leads cinema workshops in various institutions. Since 2018 she’s collaborating with the performing arts community, and with stage directors Marie Lelardoux and Malte Schwind. She also works, since 2013, with wood sculptures and installations.
