Ένα μικρό κορίτσι και ένας τυφλός άνδρας που κοιτάζουν μια λίμνη που θολώνει τα όρια του χώρου. Δύο ηθοποιοί που συναντιούνται ως εραστές για να κάνουν πρόβες σε ένα παλιό θεατρικό έργο σε μια νότια χώρα. Δύο ηλικιωμένοι άνδρες που ζουν μέσα σε έναν κάδο σκουπιδιών μπροστά στο Κογκρέσο της ίδιας νότιας χώρας. Ένας γιος σε διαρκή αποχαιρετισμό με τη γηραιά μητέρα του, μια τυφλή πιανίστρια καταδικασμένη να παίζει το “Moonlight” του Μπετόβεν, επειδή είναι το μόνο κομμάτι που θυμάται ακόμα απ’ έξω. Δύο σκηνοθέτες, ίσως υπεύθυνοι για όλα τα παραπάνω, που γυρίζουν τρένα, φεγγάρια και αφιερώνουν τον χρόνο τους σε μια δραστηριότητα που κανείς δεν ξέρει αν ακόμα υπάρχει: τον κινηματογράφο.
A little girl and a blind man staring at a lake that blurs the limits of space. Two actors coming together as lovers to rehearse an old play in a southern country. Two old men living inside a rubbish bin in front of the Congress of that same southern country. A son in perpetual farewell with his aging mother, a blind pianist condemned to play Beethoven’s Moonlight, because it is the only piece she still remembers by heart. Two filmmakers, perhaps responsible for all of the above, shooting trains, moons, and devoting their time to an activity that no one knows if it still exists: cinema.

Ο Αλέχο Μουγκιγιάνσκυ είναι σκηνοθέτης, παραγωγός, σεναριογράφος και μοντέρ, γεννημένος το 1978. Μαζί με τις Laura Citarella, Mariano Llinás και Agustín Mendilaharzu, είναι μέλος της El Pampero Cine, ενός οργανισμού υπεύθυνου για πολλές ταινίες κατά τη διάρκεια δύο δεκαετιών ύπαρξής του. Οι ταινίες του έχουν κάνει πρεμιέρα σε φεστιβάλ όπως Κάννες, Βερολίνο, Λοκάρνο, Viennale, μεταξύ άλλων. Έχει κερδίσει τέσσερις φορές το βραβείο Καλύτερης Αργεντίνικης Ταινίας στο BAFICI.
Έχει κάνει μοντάζ σε ταινίες των Hugo Santiago, Mariano Llinás, Laura Citarella, Matías Piñeiro, Santiago Mitre, Albertina Carri και Rafael Filippelli. Συνεργάζεται με τη Luciana Acuña και το Grupo Krapp σε θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Διδάσκει στο Universidad del Cine (Μπουένος Άιρες) και είναι μέλος της Συντακτικής Επιτροπής του περιοδικού Revista de Cine.
Alejo Moguillansky is a film director, producer, screenwriter and editor born in 1978. Together with Laura Citarella, Mariano Llinás, and Agustín Mendilaharzu, he is a member of El Pampero Cine, an organisation responsible for numerous films in its two decades of existence. His films have premiered at Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Viennale, among others. He has won the Best Argentinean Film award four times at BAFICI. He edited films by Hugo Santiago, Mariano Llinás, Laura Citarella, Matías Piñeiro, Santiago Mitre, Albertina Carri, Rafael Filippelli. He works on stage plays in collaboration with Luciana Acuña and Grupo Krapp. He teaches at the Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires). He is a member of the Editorial Committee of ‘Revista de Cine’.
