Mια νεαρή γυναίκα που σπουδάζει φωτογραφία στο εξωτερικό, συχνά παρεξηγημένη για αγόρι, επιστρέφει στο σπίτι για την κηδεία του πατέρα της. σε μια σύντομη συνάντηση με την αποξενωμένη μητέρα της, παραμένουν συναισθηματικά απομακρυσμένες. περιπλανώμενη στην πόλη με την κάμερά της, αναλογίζεται την παιδική της ηλικία και συζητά για τους αγώνες της σχετικά με την ταυτότητα φύλου με μια ξένη φίλη. ανάμεσα στις φήμες κατά τη διάρκεια της κηδείας, η αβεβαιότητά της κορυφώνεται, αλλά μια απρόσμενη χειρονομία από τη μητέρα της δημιουργεί μια συναισθηματική σύνδεση μεταξύ τους.
A young woman studying photography abroad, often mistaken for a boy, returns home for her father’s funeral. In a brief reunion with her estranged mother, they remain emotionally distant. Roaming the town with her camera, she reflects on her childhood and discusses her gender identity struggles with a foreign friend. Amid the gossip at the funeral, her uncertainty peaks, but an unexpected gesture from her mother creates an emotional connection between them.

H Κουν Σουν, γεννημένη στην κίνα το 1995, απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο στην ανθρωπολογία και το ντοκιμαντέρ από το university college london το 2019. συνέχισε τις σπουδές της στη σκηνοθεσία ταινιών στη london film school από το 2021, ολοκληρώνοντας με βαθμό άριστα τον δεκεμβρίο του 2023. έχει συμβάλει ενεργά ως σκηνοθέτης, 1ος βοηθός σκηνοθέτη και παραγωγός σε διάφορα έργα μικρού μήκους. η αποφοίτησή της, η ταινία poēt, κέρδισε το βραβείο golden kojika για την καλύτερη ταινία και το βραβείο κοινού στο 2024 nara international film festival nara-wave.
Kun Sun, born in China in 1995, obtained a Master's degree in Anthropology and Documentary Film from University College London in 2019. She pursued her studies in filmmaking at the London Film School starting from 2021, finished with a distinction degree in December 2023. She has actively contributed as a director, 1st AD, and producer on various short film projects. Her graduation work POET won the Golden Kojika Award for Best Film and the Audience Choice Award at the 2024 Nara International Film Festival NARA-wave.
