Γεννημένος στο Λονδίνο του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου από Έλληνες γονείς, έμαθε να παίζει πιάνο και κλασική κιθάρα από πολύ νωρίς και σύντομα δημιούργησε το πρώτο του συγκρότημα – Mimosa’s Dream. Έχει σχολιαστεί από σημαντικά διεθνή μέσα ενημέρωσης, όπως οι The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC, Q Magazine και Mojo Magazine. Ο πολύχρωμος ήχος του Leon, οι οραματικοί του στίχοι και η αυθεντική του καλλιτεχνική προσέγγιση τον έχουν καθιερώσει ως ένα από τα σημαντικότερα μουσικά ονόματα που η Ελλάδα έχει προσφέρει τα τελευταία χρόνια. Ιδιαίτερα εντυπωσιακή είναι η ιστορία ενός δημοσιογράφου των New York Times, ο οποίος τυχαία παρακολούθησε μια πρόβα του συγκροτήματος στην Technopolis και χρησιμοποίησε τους στίχους ενός τραγουδιού του Leon ως βάση για άρθρο του για την Αθήνα. Έχει κερδίσει διεθνείς διαγωνισμούς σύνθεσης τραγουδιών, όπως το John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Grand Prize) και το Unsigned Only Music Competition (First Prize), κατατάσσοντας τον εαυτό του στην κορυφή ανάμεσα σε 6.000 συμμετοχές από 95 χώρες.
Από το 2018, περιοδεύει κάθε χρόνο στις ΗΠΑ και την Ευρώπη, εμφανιζόμενος σε μερικά από τα μεγαλύτερα φεστιβάλ παγκοσμίως, όπως τα Primavera Sound, Bonnaroo, Summerfest και South by Southwest (SXSW), ενώ έχει ανοίξει συναυλίες για τους Marina and the Diamonds και Lauv. Συνεργάστηκε με τον Γιώργο Λάνθιμο για το μουσικό βίντεο του τραγουδιού Baby Asteroid. Το πρώτο του ελληνόφωνο τραγούδι, Anemos, σε συνεργασία με την Κατερίνα Duska, βρέθηκε στην κορυφή των charts του Spotify στην Ελλάδα. Αυτή τη στιγμή ετοιμάζει δύο νέα άλμπουμ – ένα ελληνόφωνο και ένα αγγλόφωνο – που πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσουν από την Cobalt Music το 2023.
Born in London, UK to Greek parents, he learned to play the piano and classical guitar from an early age and soon went on to form his first band – Mimosa’s Dream. He has been reviewed by such major international press outlets as the Guardian, the New York Times, the BBC, Q Magazine, and Mojo Magazine. Leon’s colorful sound, visionary lyrics, and authentic artistry have set him apart as one of the most major acts Greece has given the world in recent years. Especially interesting is the story of a New York Times journalist who caught the band’s soundcheck session at Technopolis by chance and used the lyrics of a Leon song he heard as the basis for his article on Athens. He has won such international song-writing competitions as the John Lennon Song-writing Contest (Grand Prize), and the Unsigned Only Music Competition (First Prize), coming top out of 6,000 entries from 95 countries. Since 2018, he has toured the US and Europe each year, and appeared at some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Primavera Sound, Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and South by Southwest (SXSW), as well as opening for both Marina and the Diamonds, and Lauv. He worked with Yorgos Lanthimos on the music video for “Baby Asteroid”. His first Greek-language track “Anemos”, with Katerine Duska, topped the Greek Spotify charts. He is currently preparing two new albums – one Greek-language, the other English-language – to be released on Cobalt Music in 2023.
