Η Cláudia Varejão γεννήθηκε στο Πόρτο και ολοκλήρωσε το πρόγραμμα Creativity and Artistic Creation Program του ιδρύματος Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Σπούδασε επίσης Φωτογραφία στο AR.CO της Λισαβόνας. Οι ταινίες της έχουν συμμετάσχει και διακριθεί σε επιφανή φεστιβάλ ανά την υφήλιο. Η δουλειά της στον κινηματογράφο, τη φωτογραφία, το ντοκιμαντέρ και τη μυθοπλασία, προκύπτει πάντα από τη στενή επαφή που διατηρεί με τους χαρακτήρες της.
Cláudia Varejão was born in Porto and studied at the Creativity and Artistic Creation Program of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She also studied Photography at AR.CO in Lisbon. Cláudia's films have been selected by and awarded at the most prestigious international film festivals. Her work, whether in film or photography, documentary or fiction, lives from her proximity to those portrayed.

Σύνοψη
Η Άννα γεννήθηκε στο Σάο Μιγκέλ, ένα νησί στη μέση του Ατλαντικού, το οποίο διέπεται από θρησκευτικούς κανόνες και παραδόσεις. Μέσα από τη φιλία της με τον Λούι, τον queer φίλο της στον οποίο αρέσουν τόσο τα φορέματα όσο και τα παντελόνια, η Άννα αμφισβητεί τον κόσμο που της είχαν υποσχεθεί. Όταν η φίλη της η Κλοέ έρχεται από τον Καναδά, κουβαλώντας μαζί της τις λαμπερές μέρες της νιότης, η Άννα βάζει πλώρη για ένα ταξίδι πέρα από τον ορίζοντα. Γεμάτο πάθος και ελευθερία, το φως του Λύκος και Σκύλος θα αποκαλύψει στην Άννα ποια είναι για εκείνη η ιδανική θάλασσα να διασχίσει. Μια συναρπαστική ωδή στην queer κοινότητα του νησιού, όπου η λάμψη του λυκόφωτος διαχέεται στον απέραντο Ατλαντικό Ωκεανό.
Synopsis
Ana was born in São Miguel, an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean ruled by religion and traditions. Through her friendship with Luis, her queer best friend who loves dresses as much as pants, Ana questions the world that is promised to her. When her friend Cloé arrives from Canada, bringing with her the glowing days of youth, Ana embarks on a journey that will take her beyond the horizon. Filled with desire and freedom, the light of Wolf and Dog will reveal to Ana the right sea for her to sail. Wolf and Dog is the enchanting ode to the island's queer community where the twilight glow crosses the immense Atlantic Ocean.
