Η Anna Vasof είναι αρχιτέκτονας και καλλιτέχνις, γεννημένη στην Πράγα. Το 2020 ολοκλήρωσε την διατριβή της για μια κινηματογραφική τεχνική που ανέπτυξε με τίτλο Non-Stop Stop-Motion. Τώρα, εργάζεται στον σχεδιασμό και την κατασκευή καινοτόμων μηχανισμών για την παραγωγή βίντεο, ταινιών, δράσεων και εγκαταστάσεων.
Anna Vasof, born in Prague, Czech Republic, is an architect, media, and time-based artist. In 2020 she finished her Ph.D. thesis about a cinematographic technique that she developed entitled Non-Stop Stop-Motion. She is currently working on designing and building innovative mechanisms for producing critical videos, films, actions, and installations.

Το Saving Some Random Insignificant Stories είναι μία ταινία-αντίο αφιερωμένη στο σπίτι των γονιών μου. Ένα βράδυ, τον Δεκέμβριο του 2021, έπειτα από ένα ασυνήθιστα ακραίο καιρικό φαινόμενο, το σπίτι των γονιών μου πλημμύρισε κι εκείνοι χρειάστηκε να διασωθούν με βάρκα. Δυο μέρες μετά την πλημμύρα, όταν μπορούσα πια να μπω στο σπίτι, προσπάθησα να συλλέξω όσα περισσότερα αντικείμενα μπορούσα. Για τα υπόλοιπα, έφτιαξα αυτήν την ταινία. (Άννα Βάσωφ)
Synopsis
Saving Some Random Insignificant Stories is a goodbye film to my parents’ house. One night in December 2021, after an unusually extreme weather event, my parents’ house flooded, and they had to be rescued by a boat. Two days after the flood, when the water level went down and I could finally enter the house, I tried to extract as many objects as possible, and for the rest, I made this film. (Anna Vasof)
