About the Screening
In the Paris of 1978, old formulas do not charm listeners anymore and new music must arise. In a male-dominated industry, Ana uses her electronic gadgets to make herself heard, creating a new sound that will mark the decades to come: the music of the future.

Marc Collin (1971, France) is a French musician, film music composer and record producer. He is known as the founder, with Olivier Libaux, of the project Nouvelle Vague, the band internationally known for performing new wave and punk songs, from 80s, in a bossa nova style. Collin has worked on several film soundtracks, notably that of Les Kidnappeurs (Graham Guit, 1998), White Wall (James Boss, 2010) and Dessau Dancers (Jan Martin Scharf, 2014), among the others. THE SHOCK OF THE FUTURE is his first feature film.
