Η Τζούλι Σερνά είναι εικαστική καλλιτέχνιδα και animator από τo Strážnice στη νότια Μοραβία. Ζει στην Πράγα και ολοκληρώνει το μεταπτυχιακό της στο UMPRUM. Στο έργο της, εξερευνά το αίσθημα μελαγχολίας που κρύβεται πίσω από κάθε εμπειρία ευτυχίας. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών της, έχει δημιουργήσει τρία μουσικά βίντεο κινουμένων σχεδίων που έχουν προβληθεί σε διάφορα διεθνή φεστιβάλ. Εκτός από το animation, έχει πάθος για την εικονογράφηση και τα πρωτότυπα κόμικς.


Julie Černá is a visual artist and animator from the small town of Strážnice in southern Moravia. She is currently living in Prague, pursuing her MA at UMPRUM in the Animation and Film Studio. In her work, she explores the feeling of melancholy that lies hidden within every experience of
happiness. During her studies, she has created three animated music videos that have been screened at several festivals. Besides animation, she has a passion for illustration and original comics.
