O JT Trinidad αποφοίτησε με άριστα από το Ινστιτούτο Κινηματογράφου του Πανεπιστημίου των Φιλιππίνων. Σήμερα, διδάσκει φωτογραφία στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Κεμπού. Τα έργα του εξερευνούν τη διασταύρωση της queer κουλτούρας και των γεωγραφικών εντάσεων, με ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον στα τοπία ως χώρους μετασχηματισμού και μεταμόρφωσης. JT Trinidad graduated summa cum laude from University of the Philippines Film Institute. They now teach Photography at the University of the Philippines Cebu. JT’s works explore the intersection of queerness and geographical tensions, with a special interest in landscapes as transforming and transformative spaces. Their narrative short the river that never ends won Best Southeast Asian Short Film at the Singapore International Film Festival and the Student Award at the JOGJA-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, and eventually had its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival. JT received the Ani ng Dangal award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in 2024.
