Βρισκόμαστε σε μια μικρή πόλη στα προάστια του Παρισιού. Είναι χειμώνας και ένα στέκι Ρομά έχει εγκατασταθεί στην πόλη. Ενώ η πλειοψηφία των γειτόνων είναι δυσαρεστημένη και απαιτεί την απέλαση των νεοφερμένων, μερικές γυναίκες προσπαθούν να τους βοηθήσουν να κατοικήσουν στη γη που καταλαμβάνουν.
A small town in the suburbs of Paris. It’s winter and a camp of Roma people has settled in town. While the majority of the neighbours are displeased and demand that the newcomers be expelled, a few women are trying to help them inhabit the land they occupy.

Η Μόριν Φαζεντέιρο είναι Γαλλίδα σκηνοθέτρια και σεναριογράφος, με έδρα τη Λισαβόνα. Σπούδασε λογοτεχνία, τέχνη και κινηματογράφο στο Πανεπιστήμιο Denis Diderot του Παρισιού. Οι μικρού μήκους ταινίες της Motu Maeva και Black Sun προβλήθηκαν σε διεθνή φεστιβάλ, κινηματογραφικές βιβλιοθήκες και μουσεία. Τα τελευταία χρόνια μοιράζει το χρόνο της μεταξύ ατομικών έργων και συνεργασιών με τον Μιγκέλ Γκόμες. Μαζί, σκηνοθέτησαν το The Tsugua Diaries (Director’s Fortnight 2021).
Maureen Fazendeiro is a French filmmaker and scriptwriter born in 1989 and based in Lisbon. She studied literature, art and cinema at Denis Diderot University in Paris. Her short films Motu Maeva and Black Sun were shown at international film festivals, film library and museums. In the past years, she has been dividing her time between individual projects and collaborations with Miguel Gomes. Together, they co-directed The Tsugua Diaries (Director’s Fortnight 2021).
