Καθώς ξεκινά η χειμερινή σεζόν στην Κρήτη, ένα ιδιαίτερα τουριστικό ελληνικό
νησί, μια οικογένεια ντόπιων, ιδιοκτητών ενός μικρού και προβληματικού bed
and breakfast, δέχεται μια απρόσμενη επίσκεψη από μια βόρεια οικογένεια
τουριστών που αναζητά μια περιήγηση στο πειρατικό παρελθόν της περιοχής.
Η σχέση μεταξύ του Μάνου, του Έλληνα πατέρα, και του Τάσου, του γιου του,
δοκιμάζεται καθώς προσπαθούν να ανταποκριθούν στις ολοένα και πιο
απαιτητικές επιθυμίες των τουριστών που θέλουν να ζήσουν την αυθεντική
πειρατική εμπειρία.
As the winter season begins in Creta, an overly touristic Greek island, a family
of locals, owners of a small struggling bed and breakfast, get an unexpected
visit from a Nordic family of tourists looking for a tour into the piratic past of
the area. The relationship between Manos, the Greek father and Tassos, his
son, is being tested as they are struggling to meet the increasingly challenging
demands of the tourists looking to live the authentic pirate experience.

Ο Σταύρος Πετρόπουλος γεννήθηκε στη Ζάκυνθο το 1984. Είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος
Κοινωνιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης και του τμήματος Media and Communications
του Goldsmiths College (University of London). Το 2013 ίδρυσε την εταιρία παραγωγής
ALASKA FILMS με τον Λεωνίδα Κωνστανταράκο. Ως σκηνοθέτης και παραγωγός έχει
δημιουργήσει ποικίλα είδη οπτικοακουστικών έργων, συμπεριλαμβανομένων ταινιών
μυθοπλασίας, ντοκιμαντέρ και τηλεοπτικών παραγωγών. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε διεθνή και
εγχώρια κινηματογραφικά φεστιβαλ αποσπώντας διακρίσεις και βραβεία.
Stavros Petropoulos was born in Zakynthos in 1984. He is a graduate of the Department of
Sociology at the University of Crete and the Department of Media and Communications at
Goldsmiths College (University of London). In 2013, he founded the production company
ALASKA FILMS together with Leonidas Konstantarakos. As a director and producer, he has
created a variety of audiovisual works, including feature films, documentaries, and television
productions. He has participated in international and domestic film festivals, receiving
distinctions and awards.
