Το "The Color Wheel" είναι η ιστορία της JR (Carlen Altman), μιας παρουσιάστριας ειδήσεων. Η JR αναγκάζει τον μικρότερο αδερφό της Colin (Alex Ross Perry) να ξεκινήσουν ένα ταξίδι με το αυτοκίνητο, προκειμένου να πάρει τα πράγματά της από το διαμέρισμα του καθηγητή και εραστή της (Bob Byington). Ταξιδεύοντας μέσα από τους ομιχλώδεις αυτοκινητόδρομους της Νέας Αγγλίας, συναντώντας παλιούς συμμαθητές τους, ξαναβλέποντας την κοινή οικογενειακή ιστορία, από την οποία έχουν εδώ και καιρό αποκλίνει, το χάος και η καταστροφή δεν απέχουν πολύ από το ταλαιπωρημένο Honda Accord. Synopsis:
"The Color Wheel" is the story of JR (Carlen Altman), an increasingly transient aspiring news-anchor, as she forces her disappointing younger brother Colin (Alex Ross Perry) to embark on a road trip to move her belongings out of her professor-turned-lover’s apartment (Bob Byington). Traveling through fog-shrouded highways of New England, uncomfortably running into old school-mates, revisiting shared familial history from which they have long since diverged, chaos and calamity are not far behind their beat up Honda Accord. It can only be a matter of time before JR and Colin arrive at the strangest and most unsettling of resolutions and put to rest their decades of animosity, half-baked sibling rivalry and endless bickering, in this comedic symphony of disappointment and forgiveness.

Alex Ross Perry (Πενσυλβάνια, ΗΠΑ, 1984)
Αποφοίτησε από το κινηματογραφικό πρόγραμμα του Πανεπιστημίου της Νέας Υόρκης το 2006. Ενώ σπούδαζε, άρχισε να εργάζεται σε ένα βίντεο κλαμπ στο East Village, όπου γνώρισε πολλά από τα μελλοντικά μέλη του καστ και του συνεργείου του. Έκανε ντεμπούτο με το "Impolex" (2009) που γυρίστηκε χωρίς προϋπολογισμό. Οι επόμενες δύο ταινίες του, "The Color Wheel" (2011) και "Listen Up Philip" (2014), έκαναν πρεμιέρα στο Φεστιβάλ του Λοκάρνο. Το "Queen of Earth" (2015), έκανε πρεμιέρα στην ενότητα Forum στη Berlinale σε παραγωγή Faliro House Productions.

Alex Ross Perry (Pennsylvania, USA, 1984)
Alex Ross Perry graduated from New York University’s film programme in 2006. While studying, he began to work at an East Village–based video store where he met many of his future cast and crew members. He debuted with "Impolex" (2009), which was shot as a no–budget film. His next two films, "The Color Wheel" (2011) and "Listen Up Philip" (2014) brought him success at the Locarno IFF. The film “"Queen of Earth" (2015) premiered at the Forum section of Berlinale and is produced by Faliro House Productions.
