Η Elsa Michaud και ο Gabriel Gauthier είναι και οι δύο μαθητές στη σχολή Beaux-Arts στο Παρίσι. Είναι σε σχέση και κάνουν καλλιτεχνική έρευνα μαζί. Γίνονται καλλιτέχνες σε χαοτικές εποχές. Πλάνα, χωρίς διάλογο, υπνωτισμένα από τη μουσική του ντουέτου Avia x Orly, συνδυάζουν χειρονομίες, σύμβολα, παγκόσμια γεγονότα και την καθημερινότητα των δύο μαθητών από τον Μάρτιο του 2017 έως τον Μάρτιο του 2018. Η ταινία αξιοποιεί τη φρενίτιδα της ψηφιακής ροής μέσα από μία οπτική πρόταση. Παρουσιάζει τα παράδοξα μιας κοινωνίας που γιορτάζει τα γεγονότα του Μαΐου του '68, πενήντα χρόνια μετά.

Synopsis:
Elsa Michaud and Gabriel Gauthier are both students at the Beaux-Arts school in Paris. They are in a relationship and conduct artistic research together. They become artists in chaotic times. The footage, without dialogue, hypnotised by the music of the duo Avia x Orly, combines gestures, symbols, world events and the everyday life of the two students from March 2017 to March 2018. The film harnesses the frenzy of the digital flow through a visual proposal. It presents the paradoxes of a society celebrating the events of May '68, fifty years on.

César Vayssié (Γαλλία, 1967)
Καλλιτέχνης και σκηνοθέτης. Αφού αποφοίτησε από τη σχολή Beaux-Arts στη Ντιζόν, εντάχθηκε στην Académie de France-Villa Medici στη Ρώμη ως σκηνοθέτης. Ο César Vayssié φτιάχνει ταινίες συνδυάζοντας τις εικαστικές τέχνες και τον χορό, ξεπερνώντας τα όρια του κινηματογράφου. Τα έργα του έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε έγκριτα μουσεία, όπως το White Cube στο Λονδίνο, το Folkwang Museum Essen, το MoMA, το MOMI της Νέας Υόρκης, το Tate Modern ή το Centre Pompidou.

César Vayssié (France, 1967)
French artist and director. After graduating from Beaux-Arts school in Dijon, he joined the Académie de France-Villa Medici in Rome as a filmmaker. César Vayssié produces films at the intersection of visual arts and dance, which venture beyond the boundaries of cinema. His works have been shown at prestigious museums, such as the White Cube in London, the Folkwang Museum Essen, the MoMA, the MOMI of New York, the Tate Modern or Centre Pompidou.
